Whew, this movie was so bad it was laughable.
The visuals were decent, not spectacular. That's about it.
Dominion decided it would rather shower us in a steaming pile of nostalgia than bother with a decent plot. This nostalgia often didn't even make sense in the context of the world of Jurassic park.
The characters were kept safe by plot armor in the non-stop string of escapes. Dinosaurs just chose not to eat them on many occasions. They would just stop attacking and stare at them until they made it to safety, then return to attacking them once there was a barrier in place.
The return of Sadler, Grant, and Malcolm is beyond reason. None of them had any reason to be doing what they were doing.
A random farmer calls in the world's most famous prehistoric plant doctor because there's bugs?
Dr Malcolm has access to high security areas because he gives speeches to... some sort of class that takes place in new dinosaur island?
There's a black market for animals that have become a global invasive species?
The new big bad is yet another slightly stronger t rex, who has little screen time and no bearing on the plot.
You're going to see it anyways, but go in expecting a cheese fest, because that's the most positive description I could give this movie.
