Sets were beyond fabulous.Margo Robbie was perfect as Barbie. I grew up in that era.,my mother refused to buy us Barbie dolls. She felt they were a sexual fantasy of what men wanted women to be,certainly unattainable. I thought they were creepy. But Mattel were marketing geniuses, isn't that the American way push something on kids that they don't need.I do think making Barbie less one dimensional helped her become more mainstream.
