I have very mixed feelings about this show. Up until the 7th episode it felt forced, than in episode 8 it all fell to its place. I really love the feminist message. From the episode 7 on, it felt like every character actually represents an important aspect of the main protagonists' downfall. Every one and each has the exact place in the life of a woman who struggles between mundane family life and her inner world as a writer. There is some very well imagined symbolism, but Im afraid maybe the execution was not the best.
I love how the character of ghost gives us the historical approach to the problem of the oppression of women, and through the difference between the position of her and the main protagonist, we are introduced to the complexity of the modern day womans' oppression, who is formally liberated, but who nevertheless still feels the old chains just as much.
I also love the idea of male-female partnership being non-sufficient and unable to respond to the mental health challenges of both parts, showing itself to be more of a cause than the solution for the problems, for its very nature being that of a union of enemies.
All together, given the very good idea, this show had the potential to be a groundbreaking feminist piece, but due to not so good execution, it may end up being just your average new show.
