I don’t see the appeal. I read a few of the good reviews and it refers to the 70’s references like they’re pure genius satire wrapped up in hilarious nostalgia, but to me it was trying too hard to pack those little factual tidbits without landing any …real jokes. The plot itself was all over the place and painstaking to try to follow. It’s very out of touch like a bad 90’s comedy, but not silly and absurd enough to embody the good side of that era of comedy. The constant stars didn’t add anything to this weirdly high budget smug hollywood circle-j*rk of a nothing burger.
