The movie is an excellent portrayal of the book. Some critics noted that the murderer was never disclosed. If said critics had actually read the book rather than a summary the murderer is revealed just in case you want to know. The marsh scenery is breathtaking and its filming is sure to win awards later in the year. Daisy Edgar Jones was outstanding in her first American film and we are sure to see her in more USA films. It is a testament on how one can survive unwarranted hate and develop a strong code of ethics creating a beautiful life.
