I watched this through Shudder and I loved the movie. I wish I could support this independent team more directly. The acting while it appears flat was on point if you realize what world they live in. There are a lot of undertones and symbols that may be missed if you don't think about what is happening. Considering how low budget this film was I think the team did a an absolutely fantastic job leagues above some of these Hollywood movies lately. I've watched this at least 5 times now and I want to go back again and again. The music is spectacular and the story while it appears shallow, it has deep undertones and symbolism.
