It's a very moving book. There is no false promises for happy endings nor are there larger than life he to characters. Every character is perfectly honed to become themselves and we aren't expected to accept characters as they are rather we are taken in to their mindsets and their circumstances . It makes war prone areas seem also more humane than most political debates make them sound. I absolutely love the way the author writes, he creates a mystery, fills you with hope , proves that humans like us are the heroes .
