Ok. I really don't understand what makes this show so great. But I came here to write my humble opinion, so I will do just that. To start off, if you are a person who likes suspense and thrillers, this show probably isn't your jam. I personally won't recommend this show to anyone. To me, this show isn't a must-watch. I would say if you got stuck on a plane or something and you don't know what to watch, then yeah maybe watch this. This show is good to pass time, but I don't think there is anything intriguing about this show. The storylines are just plain weird and not realistic at all. There are so many loopholes in every episode. the pieces of the puzzle just magically fall in place, and they catch the unsub just in the nick of time. One thing I don't like about the show is that for the first 5 seasons, they don't show the characters' personal lives. Take grey's anatomy for example. Even though it isn't a crime show, they put the characters' personal lives in very well with the workplace interaction. It shows the characters in their houses and shows them outside their workplace. That rarely happens in criminal minds. At least for the first 5 seasons. The show is so redundant and robotic. The characters are at the BAU briefing room learning about a case, taking a jet to the scene of the crime, trying to catch the unsub while he/she kills more people, and end up catching him at the very last minute. I think the reason why this show has scored high ratings is because of the characters. The characters are unbeatable, that's for sure. The friendships and interactions are also cute, but the plot of each episode is just plain bad. To be honest, Scooby-Doo is more sensible than this show. One other thing that I don't like, is characters never explain how they come to certain conclusions.
