Ed Wood would have loved this movie because it was genuinely awful. Special effects were vintage 1950's, plot and dialogue were laughable, and set must have been built in somebody's garage.
If you like campy movies this turd is for you! I rate it among my worst 10 sci-fi movies ever made and pretty near the top of that list.
Maybe it was a comedy and they forgot to tell anyone, LoL 😎

This version was a barebones pitiful outline of the book, and tragically awful compared to the first mini series.
Couldn't have produced a more inferior product if they'd tried. Cannot believe that King could possibly be satisfied with this muck! Must have been a Huge Check, LoL ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
