So refreshing 2see a film about Mary Queen of Scots from her point of view. In the past the story has always been 'Mary beautiful but weak, Elizabeth ugly but strong. At last a portrayal that is more sophisticated & dare I say the 'F' word, feminist. Please don't write about history by getting ur facts from movies. Mary wasn't claiming succession to the English throne through dissatisfaction with 'just' the Scottish one. She had a legitimate claim. NB was no 'Britania' at that time.

One of the best films I've seen in a long time. CM, RDJ, CN should all get Oscars. The film should get best picture. Acting, Direction, Script, Cinematography, Music all fantastic.

Liked it very much. I found it very moving. Did those film critics watch the same film I wonder? It reminded me of the way a large number of unseen people live in London, but I guess it is probably the same in many of our Western cities. Thank God we don't have to rely on the kindness of film critics. They would be so far up their own posteriors, they wouldn't see anyone else.
