Not good. Create a movie that stars the original cast. Let them bow out on a high note then put the franchise to bed for good.

I grew up with TOS Trek. Played Star Trek as a kid. Built countless AMT Enterprise and Klingon models. Love TOS and STTNG. Folks Star Trek SNW is not Trek. It's bland story telling. The characters are uninspiring and wooden. The sets are over the top and garish. If you could visit the bridge set of the Enterprise which one would you pick? The TOS 60's bridge or SNW's? For those of you who love Strange New Worlds....enjoy. just not my idea of Trek.

Great movie. Austin Butler had Elvis down. Tom Hanks......always excellent. Entertaining but had social commentary about then and now. Being famous always sounds so appealing but their is a crushing price to be paid. Elvis, Michael Jackson, Prince, Momma Cass, Freddy Mercury, etc. All were talented artists. I suspect good people but we're used by the entertainment business. There are unfortunately a lot of Colonel Tom Parkers among us. Sad. Elvis would be 87.

Watched the show since the 60's. Sorry it's not trek.
