Watching from the beginning helps with the character development, which is done expertly. The writing is way above par and the actors definitely rise to the material. The directing is often top-notch and the filming is realistic. I'm so glad I chose to revisit a show my wife and I watched sporadically. It is proving to be a series I will definitely recommend. There is a reason it lasted on network television for seven years. Kudos!
