If i’ve ever wanted google to implement a zero-star option in leaving a review, it would be for this movie. To start, i’d like to list my greatest pet peeves when it comes to movies like this, and that would be medical inaccuracy, cliche and shallow portrayal of teens/youth, and lastly just bad freaking writing. If you’re the opposite of me, and you love these traits in a film, then this is the movie for you! Madame web seems to embody all three of these qualities and yet still not meet the criteria of “one of those superhero movies” known for its cheesy writing and cliche scenes. Also, if you’re looking for a comedy movie, it might be more laughter inducing to watch paint dry, for the horribly over-used and misplaced one liners in this movie will fail to bring out a single chuckle in whatever theater you waste your money on being in. It’s just sad to see the potential this movie had, given a full backstory from comics, and many talented actors, they still could not deliver. 🤷🏻
