Enticing Mahila

Absolutely loved the performances right from the lead actors to the slightest of characters! Crisp editing, killer stunt choreography, great action sequences backed up by the perfect score make this film a delight to watch. Special mention to the makeup team who pulled off the gore impeccably well. Lakshya will go a long way if he picks the right kind of scripts. (Proved very well that he is the one to watch for, in upcoming Hindi action films - way better than Tiger and Vidyut combined) Raghav was perfect as a carefree yet egoistic menace. Props to the actor who played Fauji 2 for ably supporting the film's proceedings. I am slightly disappointed by the screenplay in the portions where the lead actress is present (inconsistent dialect) as well as takes away the serious tone in a couple of initial scenes. It probably would have added to the emotional impact of the situation had there been a well established backstory between the leads. The climax face off between Lakshya and Raghav felt too simple an action sequence compared to the amazing ones shown until then. Overall, great job by the entire team. 👏🏼 definitely recommend it to people who can digest some gore and/love action films.

SALAAR is an out and out maaaas Prabhas entertainer. The film is made only to elevate the Bahubali and milk the audience's craze for this one man. Interval bang gave me goosebumps and yet another one in the racy second half came through the man slaughtering son of Kateramma. Barring few logic misses and a known old ploy, Salaar is the Prabhas film for an average Telugu cinema lover. All the child actors and Co stars performed well. Prithviraj is a worthy compatriot to Prabhas. Sriya Reddy stood out among the whole gamut of performers while Jagapathi Babu seemed like an underling with not much of a role that should have been absolutely vital. The BGM and the film's musical tracks are actually good but a comparison inadvertently raises with the music director's previous outings and the work done here feels pale. The cinematography was outstanding albeit limited to B&W tones and gray shades.
