Though diplomatic talks should have been considered over this mass destruction, there is nothing wrong in Putins perspective too. He wants the safety of his country then why not NATO assure him by releasing a statement that we will not come close to Ukraine and put our forces in the interest of peace. Any country in place of Russia would have had strong objections towards towards this situation. The problem is west are on the same plate as always without having a neutral perspective. They should have assured Russia of safety long before, if they ever wanted peace
