Cgi from the first movie looks much better.

This movie doesn't even have a protagonist. None of the characters are likeable. I didn't feel sorry for anyone. And what a terribly underwhelming action and climax. This movie voided of any feelings whatsoever. The only reason for such high ratings is because of the actor s's and actresses's pretty faces.

Went in without watching trailer, expecting it to be utterly terrible but had absolute blast watching it. I think it's nice that i don't watch too many horror movies so I'm fine with the cliche unlike many. And even though it's a horror film, it's not scary at all. But the comedy make up for it. Yes, this movie is very funny. I would say genre wise, it's comedy first. Even. The characters were still written to make horrible decisions like all the other horror movies, but compared to evil dead rise, It's nothing.

Horror genre is suffering from writing for the characters to make horrible choices at any given moment. And the movie failed to make me feel attached to any characters which is one of the most important thing for a movie to do well.

This is the first movie that I can say proudly that it's a "cash grab". I wish i'd make millions for writing such terrible plot and it's terrible plot's conveniences. (Like somehow being able to use magic in the span of minute, while other people has to train for years to be able to) They knew what the fans want and didn't care about anything else.

Started off as 10/10. Got everything it needed to pave way for an enjoyable watch. Turns out, half the movie is characters not being able to find each other/not showing up. I mean, i get it. As an aspiring writer, i acknowledge that logics can get in the way of storytelling. But it's just not for me.
