the first time i watched it i laughed so hard the whole time i almost had to be taken out of the theater. second time i got so scared i couldn't sleep. Third time i really got to appreciate the artistry of it all. AMAZING movie! Thanks to this film i'm pursuing a career in animation! Very original concept, FANTASTIC visuals! I love the bending of tropes and how it mixes tone! 10/10! Its been my dream ever since i saw Paranorman to work at laika or another animation company, so! Wish me luck!

This has been one of my favourite films since i first saw it- i bought it on DVD and watching the deleted storyboard scenes inspired me to pursue a career in animation. Thank you open season two!! The story is funny and original, and i like how you do not need to have watched the first film for context. i hate the first film. i hate the third film. but open season 2 somehow hits the sweet spot between annoying and playing it safe, being so ridiculous that it is actually enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend for good, pure, fun.
