If your idea of a great movie is endless car chases involving little to no character development, then you won’t be disappointed. Well, okay, you probably will be disappointed. The characters are very two dimensional and it’s next to impossible to really give a damn about any of them. Add to that the lack of reality in how professionals would really react to the events and situations in the film, AND then add to that every action movie cliche there ever was, then you’d have a typical Michael Bay film, which this is.
If you want to watch it simply as an exercise in the technical aspects of filming an action film then, well, you’ve seen it all before and probably better done in others.
Do yourself a favor: play a video game - any video game - instead. You’ll see similar action and it will undoubtedly be more engaging.
