The Mulan remake should be a movie on it's own. Comparisons shouldn't be made from the first movie to avoid absolute disappointment and confusion. The first movie was musical, enjoyable and humorous while the adaptation is serious, powerful and slightly violent for a younger audience. Poor CGI, mediocre acting but otherwise entertaining.
