It was a good movie.....though I would not call it a great movie. It was not grand enough to warrant being on the big screen. I was filmed as it would have been made again for TV on PBS. It could have been in 2-3 segments on PBS . It was nice to see that they tried to give everyone a happy ending for their futures. Wardrobes were done well and the actors performances were up to their TV performances. It would have been better if the "mandates" from Hollywood did not cloud the story in order to allow it's undertones and agenda to be forced upon the audience.. If the movie would have been filmed a year after the original series was done, I do not think we would have seen Mr Burrow's in a lip lock .
