Decent game when you can actually play it which is about 5% of the time. Nobody cares about a move that was executed once in NHL history or a new X-factor that I've seen used a grand total of zero times in game. That's not even mentioning how many game breaking bugs there are. I sure this has happened with some many other players: you queue for a game, any game, and it loads indefinitely. In fact, once I played a game with a friend and my game started with a black screen and our gameplay was completely off set. This is just one of the many game breaking problems with this game. The gameplay is terribly flawed, when the players point at open players, they can't receive passes.In fact, they can't receive passes regardless since the passing is still terrible in this game. The goalies let in the shots that shouldn't go in and save the ones that should, and human goalie is way to difficult. The women in HUT is great, but why did they give Sarah Nurse the new X-factor when there is no hitting in women's hockey, hence no "Last Chance Puck Movement" when reacting to CONTACT. Another annoyance with this game is when queuing for WoC, you have to listen to Carrlyn scream the same line in your ear when your trying to talk with your friends and can't turn it off. The celly's and intros in WoC feel too much like the game was designed for kids and please, please don't add the griddy. And when people have club names such as tabern*k or a create a player that flirts with racism that looks completely inhuman, EA does absolutely nothing about it. The AI players on your team are completely useless. From defenders crashing the net and not backchecking, to forwards shooting rather than passing cross crease to someone wide open. And what's with the palm trees on the cover? Gary Batman pay you off to promote hockey in Arizona? As for crossplay, they couldn't have done a worse job. The point of crossplay is so you can play WITH your friends on different consoles, not against them. If you can play Fortnite with friends on a Nokia and Samsung Smart Fridge, then EA should be able to implement it. Two different games for PS4 and PS5? Come on now. This is just a short list of the many problems with this game. If you have any respect for yourself, do not purchase. And EA, do better. And please put some effort in the next one. In fact, if the next game is going to be the exact same, skip a year and rework it completely. The fanbase will appreciate it.
