it is by far my favorite retro game,very atmospheric and gives you a constant sense of "what do i do" with some puzzle solving. great soundtracks, and atcually makes you backtrack and now everyone can play it on switch via snes app and instead of giving you a tutoriel saying "wOw, YoU gOt A bOmB, gEt In BaLl AnD pReSs ThE x BuTtOn" it gives you a destroyable block in a 1 space tall area to make you think "what if i press x?" so when you get to the next area you feel accomplished because you actually figure it out to me, its a lost gem that got brought back thanks to the switch, theres so much more to say, but ill keep this "short" because my attention span just ran out, lol

this was my first mh game, and i loved it. the graphics were amazing for a nintendo DS game, the reason i didn't give it 5 stars waas because the farming can get tedious, but in 2021 generations is dead, and very few people actually play. there is an offline campaign but its not too long. and with how much rng there is with items farming is not the most pleasant experience, ESPECIALLY when you in the high ranks in online, if your going in a full playthrough of this (and im not talking about gen ultimate, and xx ) id recommend you grab a group of 4 and play with them, because if your reading this, chances are, you are considering it. i haven't played the remakes of gen, so idk if they're dead, but i know gen is dying, if not, dead. but with the few years i played it, i STILL have more to do. so to those of you who are reading this, weather you are getting gen, world or even preordering rise, if you agree or not, happy hunting ;)
