Really, just cheesy. Desperate to be as woke as it could be without tying any of the elements into the actual story. It was as though while they were writing it, someone had a clipboard checklist for all the things they had to shoehorn in. Could have been so much better.

Really good mix of what fans want. The gamer fans get what they like, the book fans get what they like. I'm a huge fan, I really hope that they get a season 2.
