Beautifully weird. Takes a while to get into, then creeps into your subconscious and comfortably asserts itself. The pace and feel are like nothing I've seen, and the soundtrack frames the strangeness of it all perfectly.

Tom Hanks at his comedic best, in a classic, well paced comedy, and an intricately-choreographed old-school farce. When you accept its 80s setting, the elements and chaos involved are as relevant and funny over thirty five years later.

Hugely underrated - beautifully acted, written and directed- this show addresses our ability and willingness to be Happy - not simply satisfied, and how we share that happiness with others when the rule book is thrown away. Some big concepts, gently portrayed - making them even more powerful.

Nice to see a comedy Sci Fi that has real characters and assumes the audience is smart. Funny, weird, fast, clever, and beautifully acted and shot. Deserves to win bundles of awards.

Frustrating to see two brilliant and much-loved actors so hampered by a lazy script, hopeless edit and nothing new or insightful whatsoever.

A beautiful rendition of Pullman's book, with exceptional acting and stunning sets and effects. Never shying away from the bigger themes of the books - making them as coherent and powerful on screen as on the page.
