The writers strike was felt with this one! Not another revenge exploitation film, girl=victim and dreamboat guy=rapist...tired of art that enacts the harm it's trying to critique. Also Hollywood needs to get its head out of its ass abt tech bro villains. What is it trying to say? How is this film something we need to see? How is it pushing the genre forward? The technical elements were there but wasted on a bad string-of-tropes story held together by occasional tension and one-liners that made my brain feel like melted cheese, but make it trauma. "Got a light?"
