There was absolutely no reference to Venom or to Wolverine or the X-Men. Charles Xavier was misused because of his Illuminati membership, so there obviously is no X-Men or even implication of such. No mutants, no other Fantastic Four members, no nothing. Disappointing fan service that focused too much on MCU characters.
Wanda has for no reason turned from the heroic mistress of magic she was in WandaVision to the cruel Maleficent-arche she is in this film, and for some reason cannot remotely sympathize with people. It would make no sense for the Scarlet Witch as an entity to be interested in two children without powers.
Doctor Strange is now a mutated freak who possesses dead bodies and whose alternate versions try to justify murder, and the Illuminati are not heroic and organized, but cruel and arcane as well as unwise. The Galactic Empire had more influence than them.
America's parents will turn away people of religions who dissuade homosexuality. Now that wouldn't be a problem, but there are more people who believe in God than those who don't, so now Marvel has lost lots of viewers because those people will not support LGBTQ+.
Thanos was made to look like a childish plot device rather than a guy who would actually put the Illuminati in their place like he did the Avengers, who absolutely solo the Illuminati. The villains, like Mordo and that twisted Doctor Strange, looked more heroic than any heroes in this. Plus, wouldn't Wanda from that other world not be able to be overpowered by her exact doppleganger? What makes the MCU so powerful?
This is the beginning of the MCU's downfall. They will no longer receive as many people to give them money, then they will spend that money on bigger and more impressive budgets, and then they will eventually die off. This may even make Marvel itself look bad now because if this is what they like, people will let them know exactly what time it is.
