Totally unexpected storyline. Refreshing change from typical Hollywood plots. Drew was wonderful in both roles and I'm going to watch it again with my husband. I laughed out loud a few times, even though it's not your typical comedy. If you are up for original writing, I highly recommend this film!

Although Godless had a few flaws in plot and continuity, the acting and writing kept me enthralled. Jeff Daniels was phenomenal, cinematography was breathtaking, the sideline stories were both entertaining and nice breaks from the mounting tension and there was lots of horse eye candy for those of us who loved The Man From Snowy River. Dig in for a wild ride and watch Godless.
BTW, the Mormon story told by the villain is based on historical info. (Not mentioned in the facts listed below.)
