My only gripe with this show is that the characters try too hard to be funny. It distracts me from and even makes the plots of some episodes unbearable. The smart remarks feel forced and average common sense leaves a lot to be desired. At least with other comedies, the humor is on par with a given situation in terms of execution, set up, thought process, and overall enjoyability. This may be coming from a guy who prefers satires and sarcasm over actual jokes, but even someone like me knows that when you're the only one laughing at your own jokes, it's a problem. With shows about superheroes, it's better to stay focused on the action and storyline (like the power rangers franchise) than the interactions between them, the people they swear to protect and between the people themselves (which, in the case of this show, is worse). You could say that the thundermans made the same mistake, but those characters don't seem to have a single digit IQ. They genuinely seem more normal than the cast of Henry Danger. I can at least find SOME charm in season 1 because kid actors were younger and most of the "jokes"
