I will be the first to admit that it wasn't as ground breaking the second time around but if you go see a Wes Anderson Movie expect square screens so if you go see a Taika Waititi expect a certain type of humor. People say that it lacks story and that Gor wasn't in it enough but it really was more about Thor progressing as a character with a Rom-Com element. Furthermore, as a life long fan of both Marvel and Taika it had some hilarious parts and it had some misses like most Taika films but in the end it progressed a character that had basically gone back into a shell after getting out all of his self-loathing in the last Avengers film. Finally, if you think he has somehow reverted it was probably intentional but he has always been a little dense as seen in the Revengers and ANOTHER.
