Silent Hill is one of those movies that gets you in a trance like stare just thinking off actually being in the town itself and having to face the demonic creatures that roam about, especially Pyrimad head. One of my favourite horror movies.

I think this filmed has the potential to keep you up over the horizon of officially understanding everything the Lutz family had been though, prior to the Defoe family. This movie hold the edge of suspense, terror and some occasional disturbing scenes but it gets away when there's little to more or less no backstory of the house or the demonic protagonist that's haunting the families. Overall, the movie gets a 7.5 /10 rating from me. I think Melissa George was extremely great in this.
