This is a review of Episode 1. Overall, it was a great intro to the fundamental physics underlying the production of energy and how that energy is supplied to life. There is one serious factual error toward the end: the Moon will not be destroyed by gravity when our sun becomes a red giant. The gravitational force exerted by the dying sun will not increase, and this can be demonstrated through Gauss's law. Tidal disruption of planets can happen, but only if the planets are drawn very close in to much smaller stars.
