TLDR: I had to temporarily delete the software of my switch and because of that it ruined my data and now I can’t start a new game. So I have heard nothing but good things about this game and when it came out on switch I was super excited to try it. I downloaded it on launch and played it, and then, due to circumstances out of my control I had to clear my switch data and re-download it. After I opened it again I found the little guy in a dungeon for “altering time” and I had to push a button 400 times to get out. After doing that I found that the 400 days had ran out even though I had only owned the game for a couple months. I automatically got the default ending and I have no way of starting a new game. To me this feels really unfair, especially since I didn’t get to experience that much of the game before a system error completely ruined my game. I get the artistic implications of only being able to play this game once, but in this case it feels really unfair.
