This is one of the worst stories I've seen on Netflix. The characters were all weak, selfish and self-absorbed, including the parents, Mateo and Isabella. Every person in the family lied to and betrayed each other, or looked the other way even when they knew the truth. Throughout the timeline spanning over decades, not one of them learned anything about being a better human being, or having courage and understanding. At the end Adela explains that even though they're flawed they all love each other--how can they when their lives were based on lies and closing their eyes? What a waste of time.

Just saw the first season of Good Girls and loved it! Didn’t realize it was done in 2016, I thought the story lines were well written and the characters well developed. The show captures the perspectives and feel of the late 60’s early 70’s perfectly, and the music is fantastic! How disappointing it was cancelled after one season.
