I really wanted to enjoy this movie, and there were many aspects that I enjoyed, like the cinematography, the fantastic sets and the clever nods at mid century nostalgia. Unfortunately, the story was a bit too convoluted and lost me at times. I still would recommend this movie to any Wes Anderson fan because it doesn’t disappoint as far as Anderson’s signature style.
