Guppy is a clean and beautiful movie that displays the life of a poor boy in its real essence. Today, when the standard of Malayalam movies are dwindling to the level of some fabricated scenes running for three hours, Guppy is a welcome break. It explores the depth of the bonding between a group of people.
The strong point of the movie is its storyline and acting. The story displays a high level of realism, with a sentimental climax. Kudos to the boy, director and story-writer of the movie!!!
Another noteworthy point in the movie is the picturisation of songs, which other directors should try to emulate. Songs like ‘Athiraliyum ’ and ‘Manjerum’ are such a lovely relief to watch. If you have observed the songs of this movie, you can feel the level of realism expressed in the movie. The situations in the songs are very real things not an idealistic portrayal.
So, all I have to say that this is a must-see for all Malayalis. Signing off with a hope that we can get to see movies of such quality,
