This movie was definitely overhyped. I went to go see it because apparently it had great reviews & the plot twist was “incredible”. I wouldn’t say it’s worth seeing it for $9 plus. I honestly should’ve waited until it came out on Redbox. From the mirror scene with the little girl and if you had watched the trailer - the plot twist is predictable. As you continue watching the film the plot twist becomes more and more clear. At the end however, the plot twist is completely unnecessary. But honestly, if you do go watch this movie - go in with the idea that the movie has no logic. As the movie portrays a lot of scenarios that any “normal” person would not realistically do in a situation like the movie shows. For example, arguing about who gets to drive, getting out of the car when clearly you shouldn’t. Also, the cops were supposed to come within 14 minutes, they never came because the plot then decided to invite the whole world.
Also why scissors?
Why red suits?
Why bunnies?
How did the main character get a bunch of scary clones to listen to her when they can’t even speak? Obviously it took years, but why didn’t she just try to escape instead and just get back at her scary clone?
So many logical questions running through my head, that often times I found myself looking at social media in the movie theater. It also gave me Strangers & Mirror vibes. Which I thought were much better movies in my opinion as they made sense.
