I saw a lot of critics for this drama and it made me have some second thoughts about the drama . The fact that many say that it's overhyped but I don't really believe it to be so. There Indeeed have been some plot holes but the drama was unique on its own , the plotline was different. It wasn't the usual beauty and beast scene. The drama has really been a roller coaster ride for me honestly. I had this with me since long but never got to watch so as I have finally finished it I really have mixed feelings about this drama. The cast, the ost, cinematography, dialogues everything is amazing . I don't know about the others but gong yo as Kim shin was the best character. The look of tenderness he holds for his loved ones yet the sadness glinting in them is so pure that u could yourself feel the emotions. The bromance between him and grim reaper were amazing the drama literally lived for their moments. Though I was pretty much disappointed with the side story it was intriguing at first but then the same clips kept playing again and again this it got a bit boring , moreover it seemed like it often overshadowed the main character's storyline so yeah it was an okay.. Then about the chemistry between Kim shin and Eun tak , it was cute watching her go all he's so cool over him as high schooler but the age gap was just a bit bothering . I personally didn't think that at first but all the reviews really made me think of it. At end when she finally grew up I was quite happy that it seemed the perfect ending for them. The last episodes feels a bit rushed tbh. Specially their reunion. The ending was good, meaningful and all but honestly that could have been avoided I mean for me it would have been perfect if each of them would have got their happily ever after. Sunny's leave could have been avoided and taking to the next life and all too. The open ending bothered me a bit and the fact that eun tak will age and gong yo willn't does too. I wish that was addressed too so we weren't left confused. But overally I can say that I really loved the drama I cried a lot, I mean I still have swelling from last night 🙂👌but it was really great. Give it a try.
