To put it bluntly, this book is terrible. I read a lot, and lately, I've read a few celebrity books. I've enjoyed them, and at one time, I liked Ellen, so I thought I would enjoy it. I was so wrong. It is corny one liners through and through. I realize she is a comedian but there needs to be some balance between being serious and making jokes to make a decent book. In this, it is just predictable, not funny jokes with no substance at all. If I'm honest, I couldn't even finish it. It was that bad. Ellen should take notes from Mindy Kaling, she knows how to write a funny, interesting book. Don't waste your money on this, you could hear the same bad jokes from your grandpa.
