Heart breaking story however it baffled me how parents ignored signs of his illness, carried on their own lives and at points during the book, I felt anger towards his mother, particularly for leaving him in a foreign hospital, saying she needing time for herself! I persisted with this book but did find the parenting mentality, frustrating.
