This movie, one that has obviously had a lot of work put into, was definitely worth the 3hrs of my time. It is very important in terms of history, drama, and it's cast. I think that it was very interesting to go back in time to witness the man who is dubbed "father of the atomic bomb". Cillian Murphy did a perfect job portraying this characters personality- to his logical and passionate thinking, to the hidden emotions of his work that he has just completed. There are scenes, mostly towards the end, that very much showcase this (mainly HIS) moral dilemma and self-proclaimed 'responsibility' or 'faults' for what he has accomplished. The only thing that slightly irked me was the portrayal of Pres. Truman (despite his brief scene). This movie can also be a bit complex to keep up with, simply because of it's rapidly changing scenes. It's good to have some knowledge on this event (the Manhattan project) before watching, as it will give you a bit of basic ground work and context. Over all, it was adapted very well to the screen. All of the actors and actresses clearly put their hearts into their roles and were well suited for their said roles!
