Ryan Reynolds stars in this by-the-books thriller that even an actor of his caliber cannot save. I’ll be honest, this movie was frustrating to watch and had me screaming at the screen multiple times. While the cinematography was an absolute delight, everything else was completely abysmal from the stone-faced low budget cop show acting, to the completely unrefined frustrating writing, to the absolute slog dialogue. It’s a story about a father whose daughter is kidnapped and he must solve the case on his own because every other character in the entire film has an IQ of 12. I swear, if you aren’t screaming at their decisions then you just do not think when you watch movies. Oh and, be prepared for that stinger of an ending that you definitely didn’t see coming from the first 15 minutes. This movie gets 1 star out of me because it looks good and Reynolds is there and I cannot redeem anything else. Watch a better movie
