Clive Redfern

A detective is so trapped in his past, that he frustratingly misses obvious opportunities to develop his one huge piece of current evidence delivered by a dog, by failing to make local enquiries of the names he has discovered, and the normally empty properties he correctly assumes might be of interest. Instead he delves into a cold case. Found it disappointingly slow, with some occasionally interesting visuals, in a beautiful setting. There appear to be attempts to scare the viewer, and the series falls somewhere between lame horror, detective story, and comedy. Impossible to recommend.
