5/5- watch this movie! And I hope a potential Shrek movie 👀👀👀 You and your family are going to love it and even if you just wanna watch it because you're a Shrek fan, DO IT! Animation and story telling is great, the action is the movie is great,too. You will be hooked on the adventure, you will laugh and maybe..even cry! I love what they did and it has a very Spiderman into the Spiderverse vibe,too. Antonio Bandera and Salma Hayek come back as the loveable Puss and Kitty Softpaws and I wouldn't of wanted it any other way. Amazing actors!

The movie does not live up to the hype at all. All the characters were sterotypes and kinda obnoxious? I guess it makes sense since they're teens. All the characters had chances to mention their home situation,concerns and secrets which is how they all come to term that they're all going through similar situation but with different scenarios but to me it really didn't defend how they continued treating each other?(because again they're just a product of their enviroment) And I wouldn't even call this a comedy since nothing was funny at all?(verbal abuse,bullying,harassment,etc but it was the 80s so it ok) or even a movie about friendship like many mentioned since they literally continued treating each others the same as before. Last minute in the movie , Claire and Bender end up together(toxic as hell lol) and then Ally and Andrew end up together too(and honestly they're the only decent couple since Andrew did try to atleast understand her and just seem like he couldnt properly express himself, but why did they need to change her? Alrighty lol) and then there Brian just alone(I wish they hadn't added couples because realistically none of them really cared and even admitted they wouldn't be friends again on Monday lol)some moment that made it enjoyable like when they were dancing and how they were doing tricks on the principle but this movie really wasn't what I expected. I think its popular simply because of title song and that it's a nostalgic movie for many in the 80s

Definitely not a movie for everyone, it did remind me alot of Quentin Taratino movies. This movie is very action pack and comedic. There is alot of moment where it would go to flash backs or they would just sit around and talk. I would say some of the action part where very short and the movie is very gorey(which doesn't bother me) but other than that I actually enjoyed the characters alot(Lemon and Tangerine). The movie isn't very serious so if youre looking for something that is just fun then this movie is for you. :]

No spoilers- 10/10 I loved the movie and I'm so sad I didn't know about it until a few days ago, definitely a good watch! I agree with the comments that say the movie is more of a thriller/drama than a comedy?(Like the rest of the reviews, the dark humor is mainly surrounding his two pets and their opinion on what Jerry(Ryan Reynolds) is doing) The movie definitely had some good tear jerker moments mainly surrounding Jerry past and his current situation. I will say that the movie does give a more sterotype of what people with schizophrenia might suffer with, but this isn't meant to be an accurate movie, anyways, but just something to keep in mind when watching movies like this. The actors were all amazing and I would love to see Ryan Reynolds in more similar movie roles.
