Hate speech masquerading as a movie! There is no question that black folks in the US have a long road to hoe even in normal everyday life. For much of the movie, through a groundhog sequence, they do a good job of highlighting systemic biases against blacks. However, it seems the writers didn't stop to question their own bias. When the script veers into projecting the police mission is to kill black people, that is when you have to call a time out. What was till then a well told story about everyday struggles of black people as victims of systemic racism just became hot garbage. This is the kind of story which breeds divisiveness and hate.
