With 30 pages to go I stopped reading it for a day as I felt that when I finished it I would be losing a friend. Thanks to this Godspeed and Hearts of Men and others Nickolas Butler had become my favourite author bar none

Not worthy of one star. Steven Knight should be ashamed of himself for destroying a classic book with an appalling script littered by totally unnecessary four letter words and the BBC should be ashamed of themselves for commissioning it. Undoubtedly the worst adaption of a Dickens book EVER. Horrible.
