Very good game. It's not a 10/10 as all the overblown hype would suggest. The story is excellent. The voice acting is very good. The worlds are beautifully rendered, if not very limited in their ability to be explored.
For me, the combat system falls short. For example, the double blue action requires luck to be close enough to interrupt it. Most of the battles don't take much skill. The boss battles are the overdone memorize the moves, block or parry a bunch of times, do minor damage, and repeat for way too long. It gets tedious quickly.
Some quality-of-life upgrades would go a long way too. Fast travel isn't available in key areas. The map has very little information about the location of items you have to return to later. The compass goes nuts sometimes for no reason.
Overall, I'm glad I got this game, and I don't even mind paying full prices (something I don't often say these days). Really, the game only needs to concentrate a little more on gameplay, even at the cost of the story, and I would like it even better.
