The book is hard to keep up with. The author jumps from one topic to another very often, and what makes it even harder to read is that she starts talking about things, never mentioned before as if they were all along part of the story.
The description and detailing are very mechanic. At times it feels like she is just throwing words on paper, with no purpose whatsoever. She goes on describing random things without breaking the sentences, and those random things are usually irrelevant to the story.
And what’s her problem with dialogues? There are literally chunks of texts going back and forth between she said, he said, she said he said.
You will find yourself reading half a page thinking it’s another random description, only to realise its a dialogue.
But to be honest, the most disappointing part is that her characters are void. You can’t form any sort of connection with them despite the ‘promising’ plot. It feels like she wrote the book on fast forward, a deadline around the corner perhaps? Sometimes it’s as if the author herself doesn’t know what she’s talking about.
One of the worst writers I have ever encountered. Very disappointed with the book, waste of time and money.
