This film completely annihilates Anakin's legacy and calls into question the entire prophecy of 'the chosen one'. It shows a complete lack of understanding for the lore of Star Wars and wraps itself in knots, surrounded by plot holes, to provide a villain after the disastrous Last Jedi. Rey is, once again, infallibile and encounters no failure or hardships, but yet, is somehow strong enough to defeat the greatest Sith of all time. Her character is completely ridiculous and overpowered beyond belief. There was so much potential for this continuation of the original trilogy but it completely falls flat. Get rid of Kennedy and JJ and let Jon Favreau take the reins from now on.
