Very confusing. Why would the aliens allow the only person who seems to have effectively resisted them-- killing several aliens with nothing more than common implements available in her home-- to enjoy a new, unparasitized life among the parasitized? It seems that if she had had a rifle she could have repelled the entire invasion single-handed. And that only begins to scratch the surface of the non-sequiturs that plague this film. Furthermore, the images and plot elements taken directly from other films make a nice quiz on sci-film history, but do not speak well of the writer/director's creativity. Kaitlyn Dever was more than fine in the main role-- responsibility for the the utter failure of the film lays at the feet of the writer.
