The background noise was extremely irritating and did nothing to heighten suspense or drama. There was a lot of scurrying from venue to venue in the guise of flashbacks ,they were too short and too many .
The 2 women in his life were much too sketchy . In general there were too many characters having 15 seconds of glory and this just muddied the water with progressing the storyline . and is only explained inhis outburst after the security risk verdict - There was little indication of the animosity Strauss held for Oppenheimer apart from the incident with Einstein and so was surprised at his outburst at the end of the film. I got the distinct impression that a lot of the original story ended up on the cutting floor.
